Customer FAQ's
Below are the most common questions customers ask about our delivery‑only service.
If you need help with something not listed here, you can contact us at admin@countrysideeats.co.uk
What is Countryside Eats?
Countryside Eats is a delivery service designed specifically for rural towns, villages and countryside communities that the big delivery apps don’t serve.
We partner with local restaurants and self‑employed drivers to bring reliable delivery to areas that have been overlooked.
Is the franchise available yet?
We are currently running and refining our pilot operation.
Full franchise opportunities will open once the model is fully validated.
You can register your interest now to be considered for early territories.
What does a Countryside Eats franchisee actually do?
As a franchise partner, you run the local operation in your town.
Your responsibilities include:
Recruiting and managing local self‑employed drivers
Onboarding restaurants and takeaways
Overseeing deliveries and customer experience
Running local marketing and community engagement
Ensuring brand standards are followed
You are the “local owner” of the delivery service in your area.
What support do franchisees receive?
You will receive:
Use of the Countryside Eats brand and trademark
Access to our website, booking system and customer platform
Restaurant onboarding templates and driver onboarding packs
Operational playbooks and best‑practice guides
Launch support for your territory
Ongoing updates and regular check‑ins
We provide the system, you run the local operation.
Do I need delivery or hospitality experience?
No.
The model is designed to be simple, structured and learnable.
If you are organised, proactive and comfortable talking to people, you can run this business.
How much does it cost to start?
The franchise fee and setup costs will be finalised once the pilot is complete.
We expect the model to be low‑cost, with no need for:
Premises
Large staff teams
Expensive equipment
This makes Countryside Eats one of the most accessible franchise opportunities in the rural service sector.
What areas are available?
We are focusing on:
Small towns (5,000–30,000 population)
Rural hubs with multiple takeaways but no delivery apps
Villages and countryside communities underserved by big platforms
If your area has no Just Eat, Uber Eats or Deliveroo — or coverage is patchy — it may be a strong candidate.
Do franchisees get exclusive territories?
Yes.
Each franchise partner receives a protected, exclusive territory where only they can operate under the Countryside Eats brand.
Territory sizes will be based on:
Population
Geography
Restaurant density
Local demand
How much can I earn?
Earnings depend on:
The size of your territory
Number of restaurants onboarded
Number of drivers
Local demand
How actively you run the business
Full financial projections will be provided once the pilot is complete.
Do I need to be VAT‑registered?
Most franchisees will operate below the VAT threshold, keeping the business simple and cost‑effective.
We will provide guidance on VAT structure during onboarding.
How long does it take to launch?
Once the franchise system is finalised:
Training can be completed quickly
Drivers can be recruited within days
Restaurants can be onboarded within 1–2 weeks
Most territories can launch within 4–6 weeks
What makes Countryside Eats different from other delivery franchises?
We are built specifically for rural areas, not cities.
Our model is designed for:
Longer distances
Lower population density
Local restaurant partnerships
Community‑focused service
Areas ignored by the big apps
This gives franchisees a unique niche with very little competition.
